3-4 lbs. pork ribs
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp pepper
3 T. liquid smoke
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp salt
1 onion, sliced
1/2 cup cola
1 1/2 cups BBQ sauce
Remove inner skin from the ribs. Mix the sugar, pepper, liquid smoke, garlic, and salt and rub it onto the ribs. Cut the ribs into 4-inch pieces and layer the ribs and onion in the crockpot. Pour cola over all of it. Cover and cook on low for 8-9 hours. Remove the ribs and discard the liquid from the crockpot. Dip the ribs in the BBQ sauce and put them back in the crockpot. Cover and cook on low for 1 more hour.
