Pizza Dough

3 cups all-purpose flour
2.5 tsp. active dry yeast
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 cup warm water

Combine yeast with warm water and set aside. Combine flour, salt, and sugar. Mix in oil and yeast/water mix. Knead for 5 minutes. Roll out and put in large pizza pan. Allow to sit for a few minutes while you prepare the toppings. Top as desired. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.

This recipe makes a thin crust pizza. If you want a thicker - less dense crust then let it rise again after rolling it out and putting it on the pan.

  1. Thank you soooo much!! Pizza was always such an easy thing for my husband to grab on the way home from work, or to buy frozen then quickly heat up...but since my daughter is dairy, egg, and peanut free now this option was taken away from me - until now! I found this recipe an hour before my husband was coming home with pizza (we got it free) and decided to make it real quick to see what it was like. I loved that my daughter could eat a pizza that looked just like her instead of making her something different.
    THANK YOU!!!
